Frequently asked questions
Who is organising the exhibition?
Common Ground is an initiative of a group of local residents, some of whom are Fellows of the Royal Society of Arts which is supporting the event financially.
Where will photos be displayed?
Selected photos will be displayed as part of a public exhibition in Royal Tunbridge Wells in late September. A number of locations will be chosen across the town, and these will be communicated via this website in early September.
Are there prizes for photos?
All photographers whose work is selected for the exhibition will be offered the chance to keep the A2 reproduction panels of their photo(s) once the exhibition has concluded in late September. We hope to offer other prizes for some of the selected photos and these will be confirmed via the website once secured.
Who owns copyright in the photos?
The photographer will retain copyright in all images. However, by submitting images you are allowing the organisers and their partners to use your photos in any pre or post publicity around the exhibition.
What information on my photo will be public?
We will make your name, photo title, and reason for taking the photo public. If you would like your name to be withheld from publicity you can let us know if your photo is chosen for exhibition.
